About
Whitney Rio-Ross is a poet, essayist, and editor. She is the author of the chapbook Birthmarks and poetry editor for Fare Forward. In 2015, she received a Master’s in Religion and Literature from Yale Divinity School. A Tennessee native, she often writes about the South, feminism, literature, and theology.
In addition to reading and writing, Whitney loves to explore cities, dissect films and television, and roam through botanical gardens. She believes the best days include dancing. Whitney lives in Nashville, TN, with her husband and two practically perfect dogs.
